Because we place live kittens into homes, our return and refund policy differs from standard product policies. Please read carefully before purchasing. By reserving or purchasing a kitten, you agree to the following terms.

Health Guarantee & Veterinary Exam

Every kitten leaves our cattery with a valid Florida Health Certificate and is up to date on vaccinations and deworming (except rabies and Feline Leukemia, which are administered later by your veterinarian).
Buyers must have the kitten examined by their own licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of pickup/delivery.
If your veterinarian finds a serious congenital or life-threatening health issue, you must provide written documentation within this timeframe. The kitten may be returned to us, and after confirmation by our veterinarian, you may:
- Exchange for another available kitten by mutual agreement, or
- Receive a refund of the purchase price minus the non-refundable deposit, issued within 30 days of the kitten’s return.

Non-Refundable Deposit

Reservation deposits are non-refundable, but they are applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten.

What Is Not Covered

Routine kittenhood issues (such as minor digestive upset, fleas, or other common, easily treatable conditions).
Any illness or injury that results from neglect, accident, or exposure after the kitten leaves our care.
Health guarantees are void if the kitten is given the FELV or FIP vaccines, which we do not support.
Declawing and tendonectomy procedures are strictly prohibited and void any health guarantee.

Care & Rehoming Agreement

All kittens are sold as indoor pets only. Allowing a kitten to roam outdoors voids our health guarantee.
Under no circumstances may a kitten/cat be abandoned, surrendered to a shelter, sold to a pet store, or given to a research facility. If you can no longer keep your cat, you must contact us first, and we will repurchase or assist in rehoming, at no more than the original purchase price.

Genetic Conditions Disclaimer

All breeding cats at Apex Siberians are screened for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other known genetic diseases.
Screening greatly reduces risk but does not guarantee that a cat cannot develop genetic conditions later in life.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 30 days of the kitten’s return.
Please note that your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
